Founder/CEO
Walking with a Purpose Corporation was founded in 2022 by Tequeya Spann, a devoted mother, grandmother, and passionate advocate for women and families. With over 20 years of experience in the home care industry, Tequeya’s heart for service began by caring for neighbors and serving in her church’s children’s ministry. She also owns T-2 Taking Territory Daycare, where she has gained deep insight into the challenges many young women face. Inspired by those experiences, she created Walking with a Purpose to provide young women with access to resources, shelter, guidance, and tools to help them discover their purpose and achieve financial independence. We are committed to empowering women — walking with them every step of the way.

Our Mission
To provide transitional housing and supportive services to motivated and determined women ages 30 and up who are facing financial challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic or other outlets that hinder them from being able to maintain stability.

To create a world where every woman is given the opportunity to rise above adversity and discover her path to self-sufficiency.
