Founder/CEO
Walking with a Purpose Corporation was founded in 2022 by Founder and CEO Tequeya Spann-Payne. Tequeya is a loving wife and mother she shares 8 children with her best friend of 13 years. Her greatest support and encourage comes from her mother, mother and sister-in-law and her late sister whose childcare business she helped run. Tequeya has been in the Home Care Providers industry for over 20 years. She became a caregiver after caring for her neighbors and working with her church’s children ministry. She also owns T-2 Taking Territory Daycare located in Merrillville, Indiana. Through childcare she gained insight on the hardships young women face every day. Tequeya is very passionate about helping young women fulfill their passion and purpose. She created Walking with a Purpose to become a tool these women can utilize to seek resources, shelter, and become financially free.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
